Electroslag Remelting (ESR)\ /The Electroslag Casting (ESC) process is a thermal process in which self-consuming electrodes made by other smelting methods are inserted into a water-cooled crystalliser containing a highly alkaline slag and are simultaneously subjected to secondary refining and sequential solidification. Its main purpose is purifying the metal and obtaining clean, uniform, dense ingots. The steel remelted by electroslag is of high purity, low sulphur content, few non-metallic inclusions, a smooth ingot surface, clean and uniform density, uniform metallurgical organisation, and chemical composition. Widely used in the remelting of large and medium-sized casting and forging ingots, shaped castings such as melting and casting production.

Electroslag castings
Electroslag fusion casting production base covers an area of 3200 square metres, with 700kVA, 2000kVA, 3000kVA, 8000kVA electroslag furnace each 1, can produce a single piece weighing 0.1t ~ 80t weight of electroslag fusion casting special castings, the current annual production capacity of 4000 tonnes.
In recent years, it has provided tens of thousands of tonnes of high-quality electroslag casting products for dozens of domestic and foreign large and medium-sized power stations, and has made outstanding contributions to the national military industry, electric power (nuclear power, wind power, thermal power) and metallurgy.
